Photography and video studio hire
Bring your camera and shoot. Over $14,000 of lighting, modifiers, backdrops and props are included at no extra charge, along with a change room, makeup stations and a kitchenette.
The spaces
A cyclorama wall for seamless full-length work, paper backdrops in a range of colours, and a framed wall on wheels you can move wherever the shot needs it.
Kitchenette, bathroom, change room and makeup stations are all part of the hire, so your talent has somewhere to be between setups.
Minimum two hour hire.
A built set with genuine character, booths, counter and all. It photographs like a location without any of the permits, weather or public liability that come with shooting in a real one.
Popular for portraits, brand shoots, music video and social content that needs to look like somewhere rather than nowhere.
Can be booked on its own.
The diner, in use
Booths, jukebox, neon, checkerboard floor and a wall of genuine memorabilia. No permits, no weather, no public liability.
Rates
Lighting, modifiers, backdrops, props and facilities are all included. There is no separate gear charge and no cleaning fee.

A technician can be present on request, subject to availability.
Crews over six people carry a $170 production fee.
Cancellations inside 48 hours are charged at 50%.
Public liability insurance is required for commercial shoots.
Additional hours beyond a half or full day block are charged at the hourly rate.
All prices include GST, so there are no surprises.
Included with every hire
Most studios charge for gear on top of the room, or hand you an empty space. Everything below is part of the hire.
On the day
We are often on site during standard hours and will say hello if we are not out on a shoot. Either way, you will hear from us before your booking with everything you need.
We contact you ahead of your booking with access instructions for the building and the studio.
If you would like a technician present to run lighting or lend a hand, ask when booking and we will confirm availability.
The lounge and foyer are available if you are waiting for the rest of your party to arrive.
You are also welcome to wait in the main studio itself if you would rather talk freely without keeping the noise down.

Free parking at the door.
We share the building with other businesses who use the office spaces during standard working hours. It is not always busy and people are not always in, but when they are, we ask that you keep noise sensible in the shared areas and treat the space and the people working in it with respect. Inside the studio itself, make as much noise as you like.
Optional extras
You are shooting anyway. For a small addition we will capture the making of it, which is usually the content that performs best on social afterwards.
Stills of your shoot in progress, edited and delivered. Good for case studies, pitch decks and showing clients how the work gets made.
Footage captured alongside your shoot, cut into a short piece you can use however you like.
Vertical, captioned and ready to post. Delivered as a batch so you have a run of content rather than a single clip.
Priced per booking depending on length and how much you want delivered.
